How to find your strengths and weaknesses.

you’re are going to make a list of people you know, these may be your friends, your colleagues, your family members, and people, you know, in your industry. Now, these people, the important thing here is that these people must know you very, very well and you’re going to ask them for feedback about your strengths. So when you contact them, you’re going to ask them in a phone call or face-to-face meeting or in an email, you’re going to say to them, hey, I’m doing a self-assessment of myself.

And I would really love to get your feedback on my strengths. So you’re going to ask them, what do you think is my greatest strength? Or you can ask them, what do you think? I’m really, really great at that. Do you think nobody else can do this? Well, you can ask them, what do you think are my top three biggest strengths that you have encountered in our conversation, in our interaction in our office? So you’re going to ask them these questions and you are going to get their feedback and then you’re going to write these things down in the worksheet.

So I’ve created a special worksheet for you so that you can know down all of your points about your strengths and weaknesses. So use that worksheet when you do this activity. So that is part number one, getting feedback from other people.

2. Now, the second part in finding your strengths is you have to ask yourself certain questions and you are going to ponder on these. You’re going to take your time to really understand the question and think about the answers. So you’re going to ask yourself these questions. Number one, what specific knowledge in my field or in my industry do I have? This can be special, specialized knowledge. It can be a specific skill. It can be some specific education, that you have some special training, that you have some special certifications that you have done for your career.
